Senior Level – Test Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications:  

  • 5-year experience as Tester/QA Manager, preferably with working knowledge in Marketing / CRM
  • Finance and Accounting background 
  • Understanding of Oracle Financials R12 (GL, AP, AR)
  • Retail experience would be an advantage
  • Experience in interface, integration, and full end-to-end testing

 Scope of work : 

  • Create test plans/scripts and perform unit testing. 
  • Create Documentation: Functional, Technical and User Manual. 
  • Environment preparation for SIT, UAT and PROD. 
  • Coordinate with necessary department in terms of access, permission and control. 
  • Understand the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project. 
  • Organize the testing kick-off meeting 
  • Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and btain stakeholder support for this plan. btain stakeholder support for this plan.

    Test Enviroments and Data
  • Arrange the hardware and software requirement for the Test setup 
  • Identify any need for data migration prior to test execution

    Test Script Development 
  • Assign task to all Testing team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project 
  • Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained. 
  • Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization. 
  • Check / Review the test cases documents 
  • Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the project. 
  • Escalate the issues about project requirements (software, hardware, resources) to Project Manager 
  • Act as the single point of contact between development and testers

    Test Execution 
  • Track and prepare the report of testing activities like testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc. 
  • Review various reports prepared by Test engineers. 
  • Send status reports on the summary of testing 
  • Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones 
  • Accountability on the UAT signoff 
  • Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of the project.
